Day #4 - Zombie Flu Virus

So I've been sick for 4 days now.  Aaron got me a neti pot on his way home last night and I used it for the first time.  That has to be one of the weirdest sensations I've ever felt.  I know that the ears, nose, & throat are connected but I didn't expect it to make my eyes water & burn.

You put the spout in one nostril and tilt your head so that the water pours out the other nostril.  Just weird.  I couldn't get it to work from the left side but if I put it in the right side, then it was fine.  Bleh.  It cleared my nose out for about 5 minutes and then it went back to feeling stuffy.  It's just salt water so I can do it as often as I'd like, although I imagine it would eventually dry my nose out and cause nose bleeds.

I just want it to move out of my head so that the sinus headaches will go away.  And the snoring is bad.  Poor Aaron braved the bed last night but I know he had to have slept bad, too.

Woke up to snow again.  The snow had melted off of the roads and the driveway but they were covered again this morning.  Although the sun is shining now so maybe it'll melt again.  I'm so done with snow.  And cold.  But you already knew that.

Zach wanted me to walk him into school this morning and then he got all clingy.  I really didn't want to stay this morning because I feel like crap and I don't want to infect any of the other children.  I felt bad for him, though.  I walked him back to his class and once he started in on his routine (hang up his coat, find his name tag, sit in the circle, etc) he wasn't watching me so I left.  Is it worse to just leave and have him look for me halfway through the class and wonder where I'm at?  I don't really know.  He had show and tell today so hopefully that distracted him enough that he forgot about me even being there.

Speaking of Zach, I have to go pick him up now.  Nothing new or exciting here.  Just blogging for the sake of blogging.
