The parts w/Alias & Dragonbait took place previous to the module we were playing. We were all the clones --> Tharzadin was attempting to re-enter the world so he had convinced a bunch of people to try the experiment again. Tharzadin had tricked us all into doing something very bad and when we died, he took our souls and then we were resurrected as clones. We had to stop the big bad from coming back into the Realms and free our souls to set right what we had done wrong.

No Dragonbait,no Alias...Does that mean Upton was the clone?And if so,would that mean his past was all false memories and subject to him being a little more innocent than given credit?
I hope i'm remembering the novel correctly.
